For Secondary aged young people in Secondary S1 to S6 (approx. aged 12 to 18)
A relaxed creative space for young people in S1 to S4 (aged 11 to 15) to hang out, unwind, and make something, with no grown-ups in the room. It’s your session to use how you like: work on the graffiti wall, glass wall, canvas, messy tray, or floor art, try something new, or carry on a project you’ve got going at home.
All standard materials are included, and you can drop in for as long or as little as you want during Wednesday term-time hours (7pm to 9pm).
Our trained staff and volunteers keep things safe and easy-going, so it’s a drop-off session where you’ve got space to do your own thing. Come along with friends or on your own, now and then or every week.

At ColourPlay we encourage everyone to get involved with your creation, and that means you should expect to get messy!
Old clothes are strongly recommended for your colourplay session as we don’t have aprons!
Most of our resources will wash out, but there are some things which may not want to shift and with it being a freeplay studio we cannot guarantee there wont be stray paint splashes no matter how careful you’re being!
Grown-ups are asked to supervise their littles and ensure they are using equipment in a way that is safe for themselves and those around them! But more than that – we want you to get involved too. Create together and you will all have more fun!
Our intimate Colour Room space does not allow us to offer cafe facilities.
But, we are happy to offer free complimentary bottled water, as well as a range of cold drinks and snacks to purchase at very reasonable prices!
