The whole Colour Room is yours for the party. Your guests get free run of our paints, chalks, glass wall and graffiti wall, and a dedicated host looks after set-up, the cake and the clean-up.
No other groups and no shared tables. Your guests have the full Colour Room for the whole party.
Children choose what to make and how to make it, from floor painting to the graffiti wall. There is no set craft to follow.
Toddlers, older siblings and grandparents can all join in, which makes it ideal when your guest list spans several ages.
Your host sets up, guides the activities, leads the cake moment and clears up afterwards. Every member of our team holds PVG membership.
You pay only for the people taking part, whatever their age. Grown-ups who supervise without joining in are free.
Every participant receives their own Medium sized canvas to paint their own masterpiece using our acrylic or watercolour paints, or any of the materials available in the ColourRoom.
The perfect partner for a Masterpiece canvas. A pack of 8 miniature tubes of acrylic paint: Titanium White, Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Red, Burnt Umber, Emerald Green, Royal Blue and Lamp Black.
Make your own slime. Your host sets each guest up with the ingredients and colours to mix their own slime from scratch, and everyone takes their creation home at the end of the party. Recommended for ages 5 and over.
Your party host will guide your guests to create a collaborative work of art on our massive A1-sized canvas. Every participant is encouraged to contribute, to paint a collective masterpiece to commemorate your event using our acrylic or watercolour paints, or any of the materials available in the ColourRoom.
As an optional extra, we can add Party Gift Bags for each child. Each Party Bag includes a mini sweet snack, fidget toy, "art at home" pack, and a piece of cake (provided by booking customer as above).

ColourPlay parties follow our free creative play approach, so there is no fixed timetable. Children move between activities as they please. To make sure everyone feels confident, safe and free to explore Your Host will offer a formal introduction and finish the party with a Cake Ceremony (optional).
Your host introduces the space and the materials, so everyone knows how to get the most from the experience.
Guests explore at their own pace. Your host is on hand throughout to set out materials, offer ideas and keep things running.
Towards the end, everyone gathers for the cake-cutting ceremony and, if you would like, a round of happy birthday.
Paint gets everywhere at ColourPlay, and that is part of the fun. We do not provide aprons or ponchos, so please ask every guest to wear old clothes and socks that can get messy. Guests will be asked to remove outdoor shoes upon entry to the ColourRoom. Most of our paints wash out, but we cannot guarantee every mark will, so leave anything precious at home.
Add this line to your invitations: "We'll be painting at ColourPlay, so please come in old clothes and socks that can get messy! A change of socks for the journey home may be useful"
Every participant receives a snack pack. Choose individual packs (crisps, a mini sweet snack, and water or a fruit juice carton) or a shared buffet (crisps, sweets, chocolate, water and juices). Bottled water is complimentary, and extra cold drinks and snacks are available to buy.
To help us manage allergens, we normally ask visitors not to bring food into the Colour Room. Parties have one exception: you are welcome to bring a birthday cake, and your host will lead the cake-cutting ceremony.
We ask about allergies and dietary needs when you book. Allergen information for our snack packs is available on request, and we can adjust the packs to suit your guests.
Bring Your Own Bottle is available on our Adult & Group Celebrations, including family celebrations with guests of all ages. It is not available for children's birthday parties.
Only if they join in. You pay for everyone taking part, whatever their age, and grown-ups who supervise without creating are free.
Parties start from 8 participants. Up to 16 people can be in the room, counting children and grown-ups. Larger parties may be possible by arrangement, so please call us.
We ask for at least two adult supervisors at every party, alongside our own team. Space is limited, so we kindly ask other parents to drop off and collect unless they are included in your guest total.
We run parties from Wednesday to Sunday, during the day and in the evening. If you need a time outside those days, get in touch and we will see what we can do.
Every age. Our parties suit toddlers right through to teens, and mixed-age groups work well. Babies who are crawling or walking count as participants.
Your birthday cake is welcome. We provide a snack pack for every participant and ask that no other food is brought in, to help us manage allergens.
Yes. Every guest takes their creations home at the end of the party.
Our make-your-own slime add-on. Each guest mixes their own slime from scratch with help from your host, choosing their colours, and takes it home at the end of the party. You can add it for some or all of your guests.
A £50 deposit secures your date. You can pay the balance online before the party, or on the day by card or cash. Our full booking terms are on the booking page.
